A. INSTRODUCTION

When two dissimilar metal conducts are connected
0together to from a closed circuit and  the two junctions
are kept in different temperatures, thermal electromotive
force is  generated in   the circuit.
Thus, when on end[cold  junction] is kept constant at a
certain  temperature, normally  at 0°C,and the other end is
    exposed to unkwon temperature,

the  temperature at letter end can   be determined by measurement of hi-watt thermocouple
   so  generated.
Thus combination of   two dissimilar metal conductors are called   'thermocouple'

B. SHEATH THERMOCOUPLE

Sheath thermocouple that is composed of a gauged metal in which high purity Mgo power
is fightly compacted around thermoelement wires. Sheathed thermocouple has high
insulation and pressure resistance. It has also high reliability because if its hi-watt tc
tolerance falling within the limits stipulated by JIS( C 1602-1981 ). ANSI, BS, DIN, etc.

C. RESISTANCE BULB

This is the most resistance temperature detector using mica or ceramic type rtdc element
as shown in the right picture.  The use of high purity platinum resistance wire ensures
trecision measurement. Excellent in stability and reproducibility.
