1. FLAT RIBBON HEATER [TEMP. RISE : 760°C]

 

 These heavy-duty insulated heating tapes have a high-temperature yarn double braided over strands of resistance wires.
 Two os these elements are knitted together, then covered with a braided material to form an insulated flat tape.
 Tapes have a standard, inseparable two-prong plug at one end for a quick and direct connection to a temperature or power controller.

Increase wattage by connecting heating tapes in parallel-simply use more than one power controller!.
  Shpg wt for 2 to 6 feet tapes is less than 1.0 lb (0.5 kg); shpg wt for 8 to 32 feet is less than 3.0 lb (1.4 kg).

 3. ROUND RIBBON HEATER [TEMP. RISE : 454°C]

 

 Pipes, Tubes, and other similar apparatus where spot or particular  locations need to be warmed.  These rugged heating cords heat up to 454°C measure only 3/16" diameter.   Cords heat small vessels or tubes where space is too  limited for  other heating tapes or devices.  Heat glass, ceramic, or   metal.

A. Features

  1. The Single Round Ribbon Heater has a termination on each end.
  2. The nominal diameter is  .180" x .040" wall for 120 & 240 volts.
  3. Lengths to 300".

B. Construction

  1. Flexible woven fiberglass braid.
  2. Premium grade resistance wire element.
  3. Braid retainer.
  4. Fiberglass insulated leads.

C. Wattage
     Maximum wattage is based on 5 watts per linear inch of heater.

      Higher or lower wattages are available depending on the application.

D. Voltage

     Voltage is normally 120 or 240 volts. Lower voltages are available.

3. CERAMIC RIBBON HEATER [TEMP. RISE : 1093°C]

 

  These high temperature beaded heaters are the ideal source of intense
   heat with great flexibility.

   Nike-Chrome resistnace wires are insulated with 3/16" out diameter
   ball-and-socket ceramic beads-shape to fit almost any vessel.

 Coil heaters around tubes as small as 1/2" in diameter.
 Cord and plug are not included.
 Connect heaters in parallel for higher wattage.
 Connect two same size heaters in series for 220/230 VAC operation.
